The Environment Agency have now removed the flood alerts which were in place in Doncaster.
Whilst this is of course good news, water levels still remain high and we will continue to monitor the situation closely with staff on the ground today and into the weekend.
Supply of Covid19 vaccine to Yorkshire is being cut. @MattHancock says the region has vaccinated more people than other places, like London, and it's about ensuring the delivery is "fair". Supply to London is increasing. You could say they're "levelling up" the vaccine delivery.
The Sheffield City Region is being re-branded. The name change is happening to better reflect the geographical make-up of the area. It's not likely to happen until after local elections in May.

Flood Alerts have been re-issued for the Lower Don, River Idle, River Went and River Dearne.
This covers the following areas: Bawtry, Bentley, Conisborough, Clay Lane, Fishlake, Intake, Mexborough, Scawthorpe, Tickhill and Wadworth.

Bin Collections & HWRCs SUSPENDED
We can confirm - in conjunction with our partners Suez - that collection of black & blue bins for today is suspended due to adverse weather conditions in most parts of the borough. The health and safety of staff and residents must take priority.
