“I was the Supervising Technical Director on the original Toy Story, which meant I oversaw all technology aspects of the film as well as supervising approximately 70 technical directors who worked on it during its 3 years of production.
@Pixar It is difficult to describe the impact of Toy Story on my life, and really do it justice.
@Pixar I bet it was very special working on Toy Story a very interesting line of work and a great film too🥰
@Pixar Do you still work on the Toy Story shorts series? Love those mini stories, everything is so polished (for lack of a better word)
@Pixar Since then i have bought for my mum - toy story monopoly toy story chess board, every single special edition character you can think of and a Woody Loungefly backpack. I am your ideal audience 😂😂
– Bill Reeves, Supervising Technical Director, Toy Story #ToyStory25
Toy Story is still my favorite of all the films I’ve worked on at Pixar. Special film, special people, special technology, special place in time for computer animation. I feel very privileged and lucky to be part of it.
I’m currently working on an unannounced Pixar feature film where we are in ‘look development’ for the main characters. It’s a very challenging film technology-wise, so it’s a lot of fun working with a small team, solving problems and creating new ones.”
